MA Schools Test Longer Day

Recently, the Massachusetts Department of Education dramatically expanded the state's initiative to extend the school day. By next Fall, 34 districts will have either tried it or will consider doing so.

Massachusetts is the only state in the nation to fund the redesign of the traditional school day in multiple districts. WBUR's Monica Brady-Myerov has more on the story.
