Tax Time for Illegal Immigrants

Most of us dread tax time every year but thousands of immigrants living and working illegally in Massachusetts actually welcome the opportunity to file returns. It can be a chance to prove their economic contribution to the state and to document their residence here.

The IRS supplies a special number and ensures confidentiality. But not everyone agrees this is a fair approach. WBUR's Bianca Vazquez Toness has more on the story.
