Sox Mid-Season Review

Tonight's Major League Baseball All-Star game in San Francisco will feature six Boston Red Sox players: Josh Beckett, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Mike Lowell, Jonathan Papelbon, and Hideki Okajima.

For the third consecutive year, the All-Star break sees Boston in first place in the American League East, with a 10-game lead over the Yankees and the Blue Jays. It's a fine time to take stock of the Sox' performance so far and look to what may lie ahead.
