Harvard To Award Kennedy Honorary Degree

Harvard University will give an honorary degree to Senator Edward Kennedy today.

Kennedy was originally scheduled to receive the award last spring, but he was recovering from surgery on a malignant brain tumor.

Harvard says the event will honor Kennedy's commitment to social issues including health care, civil rights, and education.
