Bridgewater Marine Laid To Rest

Funeral services were held Wedneday morning for a Bridgewater Marine who died from injuries sustained in Afghanistan.

Lance Corporal Kevin Preach was described as a leader and dignified Marine.

In a remembrance, Preach's girlfriend Brianna Kelliher said her two years with him changed her life in more ways than she could have ever imagined.

"He introduced me to love, taught me how to appreciate the little things in life, and showed me what it means to be a hero."

After the funeral service, Preach was buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

A funeral will be held tomorrow for another Bay State serviceman killed in action.

Private Jonathan Roberge of Leominster was killed last week in Iraq.
