Health Officials Consider BPA Ban

State public health officials are considering a ban on products containing a controversial chemical known as BPA.

It's used in hundreds of products including plastic water bottles, baby pacifiers, and baby bottles.

BPA has been linked to developmental problems in small children.

Last year, Canada announced plans to ban the substance in baby bottles as early as this year.
