Boston Mayor Thomas Menino faced a barrage of attacks from his three opponents Thursday night in the final debate of the campaign before the Sept. 22 runoff election.

As they did in the first debate, businessman and contractor Kevin McCrea and city councilors Sam Yoon and Michael Flaherty tried to make Menino the issue.

We spoke in WBUR's Studio 2 with Larry DiCara -- a Boston attorney, onetime city councilor and mayoral candidate himself — to get his take.

This program aired on September 11, 2009.
