Evidence Of Misconduct: The Exculpatory Report

Police Det. Martin Coleman filed this handwritten report in 1991, stating that his witness had lied in the murder case against Vincent "The Animal" Ferrara. But the report never made it to trial, and a court would later find that the prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence. Judge Mark Wolf called it “the smokingest gun I’ve ever seen."
