Body Found In Brockton Trash

Authorities are investigating the discovery of a woman's body stuffed in a duffel bag and thrown in a trash receptacle in Brockton.

The body was found inside the container in a residential neighborhood just before midnight Sunday near Warren Avenue and Park Street.

Police have not released an identity or a cause of death. There have been no arrests. An autopsy has been scheduled.

The district attorney's office is investigating.
