13 Allege Abuse At Cape Camp, Attorney Says

There are new allegations of sexual abuse at a Cape Cod summer camp.

Attorney Mitchell Garabedian says a total of 13 people have come forward claiming they were abused while children attending Camp Good News in Sandwich.

Garabedian says one former employee says he took his concerns to camp officials, and they looked the other way.

"They shunned her and they said she just was looking at things the wrong way and should just not continue talking like that," Garabedian said. "They wouldn't heed the warnings of people who worked there and they wouldn't investigate matters properly."

A spokeswoman for Camp Good News says the camp will address the allegations in the appropriate forum — not the media.
