Rosie’s Place Founder Kip Tiernan Dies At 85

Many community leaders working with the homeless in Boston are grieving the loss of a powerful advocate.

Rosie's Place founder Kip Tiernan died of cancer in her South End apartment Saturday. She was 85.

Many remember Tiernan as a fierce advocate for numerous social justice issues such as health care and housing.
