Bachmann's N.H. Staff Speaks Out

Republican presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann's former team in New Hampshire is calling her national staff "rude, unprofessional, dishonest and, at times, cruel." The staff quit last week, but they're now speaking out.

Bachmann's New Hampshire team complains that it had to clean up after national staff were anything but "Minnesota Nice" to supporters.

"A homemade sign was taken from a supporter's hands because it was homemade, it wasn't going to look good in the camera," said Karen Testerman, who was a senior New Hampshire adviser to Bachmann. "Those kinds of things are not the way that we treat our people here in New Hampshire."

Testerman said a senior national aide, whom she would not name, also lied, saying he'd talked to disgruntled New Hampshire aides when he had not.

Bachmann's national staff did not respond to requests for comment.
