Poll: Mass. Residents Split Over Occupy Boston

A new poll shows Massachusetts residents have split views about the Occupy Boston protest.

The Suffolk University/Boston Globe survey shows 41 percent approve of the demonstrations while 38 percent disapprove.

According to the poll, women, African-Americans, renters and the unemployed tend to hold more favorable views of the Occupy movement.

National polls show only 29 percent of Americans approve of the movement.
