Ex-Mass. Treasurer Cahill Facing Corruption Charges

Former Massachusetts Treasurer Timothy Cahill is expected to make an initial appearance in court Wednesday following his grand jury indictment on charges of violating state ethics laws, procurement fraud and conspiracy to violate those laws.

Attorney General Martha Coakley alleges that Cahill, as treasurer, dipped into the state's lottery ad budget to help his gubernatorial campaign in 2010.
