Police Investigate Fatal Dorchester Shooting

BOSTON — Boston Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Dorchester Thursday night.

Police say a man in his 20s was shot on Leyland Street just before 8 p.m. The unidentified victim was later pronounced dead.

It is the city's 17th homicide of 2012, and the second of this month. Nine of this year's homicide victims have been in their 20s.

Police said no arrests have been made.
