Man Is Fatally Shot In Dorchester

BOSTON — A man believed to be in his early 20s was fatally shot late Wednesday, Boston Police report.

Just before midnight on Wednesday night, police responded to 67 Dakota St. in Dorchester, where officers found the victim suffering from multiple apparent gunshot wounds.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was later pronounced deceased at Boston Medical Center.

It is the city's 27th homicide of 2012, and the sixth murder in Dorchester this year. Thirteen of the 27 victims have been in their 20s.
