It's been seven months since the New England Patriots came up short against the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI. The fourth quarter loss shocked Patriots fans who were hoping to see the team pick up its fourth championship in 10 years.

But, that's all in the past now. A new Patriots season gets underway this weekend when they take on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville Sunday afternoon.

ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss joined WBUR's All Things Considered to preview the season.

This program aired on September 7, 2012.
