State Chemist Possibly Mishandled Evidence In 34,000 Cases

State agencies and district attorneys on Wednesday will to try and clarify what happened at the troubled state crime lab that was shut down last month.

The Jamaica Plain lab was shut down after it was discovered that a chemist involved in testing more than 50,000 drug samples was mishandling evidence.

WBUR's David Boeri joined Morning Edition host Bob Oakes to talk about the latest developments in the case.
