Survivor Of Boston Shooting Now Says He Can ID Killer

The only survivor of a drug-related shooting in Boston two years ago that left a 2-year-old boy and three adults dead has told police that he can identify the killers, in contradiction to his testimony at the suspects' trial.

Marcus Hurd, paralyzed after he was shot in the back in the Mattapan neighborhood in September 2010, told a jury in March he couldn't identify the two shooters because they wore masks or tightly pulled hooded shirts.

Edward Washington and Dwayne Moore were charged with the killings. Washington was acquitted, but the jury deadlocked on Moore.

The Boston Globe reports that according to court documents, Hurd now says he can "recognize the shooter's facial features."

A judge Tuesday will weigh whether to allow Hurd's new recollection at Moore's retrial in October.
