Quincy Woman Struck, Killed By Car

Authorities say a Quincy woman has been struck and killed by a car driven by a family member, and her husband is being questioned by police.

The Norfolk district attorney's office says Beatrice Rivard was struck outside her home at about 8 a.m. Monday in the Hough's Neck section of the city. Another family member was also struck but survived.

Her husband, whom police believe was in the car, is currently speaking to investigators.

No other names were released.
