Senate Budget Proposal About 'Making Difficult Choices'
PlayOn Beacon Hill, the political wrangling over the Massachusetts state budget is kicking into high gear.
The Senate Ways and Means Committee Wednesday released an almost $34 billion spending plan. Investments in transportation and education fall short of Gov. Deval Patrick's proposal, which called for $2 billion in new taxes.
