'Joking Bad' — Jimmy Fallon's 'Breaking Bad' Parody
Can't get enough of "Breaking Bad," Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul or Bob Odenkirk (who'll be starring as sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman in a new AMC series)? Jimmy Fallon rides to the rescue with this spot-on parody of the show, complete with some great cameos — including the three amigos above — though "Joking Bad" probably won't mean that much to those unfamiliar with the show.
We can't give you a full recap here, but for the record, Fallon is referencing Cranston's portrayal of Walter White who turns to cooking crystal meth with his young associate (Paul) when he's told he has terminal cancer. Some of the references from the show — Walter White spells out his age with bacon in one scene, they cook the meth in an RV, and Walt rigs explosives to a man who sets them off by ringing a bell, snaring his boss, who walks out into the hallway as if he survives before turning to reveal that half of his face is missing.
Cranston, of course, is in town to play Lyndon Johnson for the sold-out run of "All The Way" at the American Repertory Theatre. Fallon probably won't be doing a parody of that one.
