“I got into construction right after high school.”
“Does anyone else in your family work in construction?”
“My brother does. He’s 11 years older than me, and he’s like a father to me. I was never close with my father.”
“Tell me something about your job.”
“It’s lots of fun. You learn a lot. It’s a union job, so everyone calls you a brother. People from New Hampshire come to work here. I spent last winter on top of Logan. It was great, and I was there when Obama landed here in April.”
“But it must’ve been cold in the winter.”
“Oh, I love the cold, and the job is fun. Maybe it’s because I’ve only been doing it for a couple of years. We’ll see.”
