State Police: 'False Report' Of Possible Person With Firearm At UMass Boston
Update at 12:28 p.m.: The McCormack building has been reopened, per the university.
Update at 12:20 p.m.: "There is no threat" at UMass Boston, Massachusetts State Police just said on its Twitter account. "False report. Scene is clear," it added.

The University of Massachusetts Boston has ordered an evacuation of the McCormack building on its campus, due to a "possible person with a firearm."
UMass Boston alerted the campus community of the evacuation just before noon on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.
It urged members of the school community to avoid the area around the building.
UMass Boston said officials were on scene.
