1 Dead In Officer-Involved Shooting At Tewksbury School

One person is dead following an attack and subsequent police shooting outside a Salter School in Tewksbury Tuesday morning.

Two people were stabbed in the school parking lot, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police say the suspect, who then exchanged fire with officers, has died.

"We know that two individuals, two colleagues arrived at work, an incident took place in a couple of locations in the park, that then spilled over into the neighborhood, and we then know the results of that," Ryan said.

The Salter School is a private vocational school with four campuses in Massachusetts.
