Mass. Transportation Officials Say They Need More Information To Fix MBTA

MBTA commuter rail service is expected to operate at about three-quarters capacity Friday morning, and it is not expected to return to full capacity for another month.

The continuing T problems were on full display Thursday as state lawmakers on Beacon Hill held their first hearing about the MBTA's meltdown in the wake of record snowfall in Boston.

WBUR's Asma Khalid was at the hearing and joins Morning Edition to discuss what happened there.
