Casino Developers Get More Time In Southeastern Mass.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has awarded two of the three casino licenses it can issue — one for the Boston area and one for western Massachusetts.

But with less competition for the license in the southeastern part of the state, the commission has decided to give developers a little more time to finalize proposals.
