Prosecutors: Boston Man Fighting For Life After Stabbing

Prosecutors say a 65-year-old man is fighting for his life after his neighbor stabbed him multiple times in Boston.

Police say 44-year-old David Eng attacked Floyd Lee in his South End apartment on Monday afternoon.

Authorities found Lee lying on his side with stab wounds to his head, throat, neck, chest, abdomen and right arm. He remains hospitalized at Tufts Medical Center.

The Boston Globe reports Eng was ordered held on $100,000 bail at his Tuesday arraignment. He is charged with assault with intent to murder and home invasion.

Prosecutors say the attack was unprovoked and that Lee has had at least one live-saving surgery.

Eng's attorney says she "has concerns over the allegations" that the attack was unprovoked. She says Eng appeared to be mentally competent.
