3 Charged With Operating Meth Lab In Burlington Hotel

A man wearing a gas mask and another carrying a container of paint thinner tipped police off to a possible methamphetamine manufacturing lab in a Burlington hotel.

Three suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Woburn District Court.

Police began investigating after hotel employees noticed the suspicious behavior, which included a man with an ankle bracelet, a foul odor emanating from a room, and an unusual amount of people coming and going from the room.

The men were arrested Friday after police executed a search warrant and found a large amount of methamphetamine inside the room, and plastic bags over the smoke detectors.

The suspects were identified as 24-year-old Eric Somwick and 52-year-old Tony Pickard, both from Manchester, New Hampshire; and 32-year-old Dustin Robert Beliveau of Burlington.
