Boston Teachers Union President Is 'Optimistic' As Contract Negotiations Carry On With BPS Officials

Boston Public Schools officials and the teacher's union resume contract talks Tuesday.

The negotiations began back in February to reach a new deal before the existing one expires next week and classes in Boston begin in just over two weeks.

Boston Teachers Union President Richard Stutman joined Morning Edition to discuss the talks.
