Trial Begins In ACLU Suit Over Mass. Voter Registration Deadline

A trial over Massachusetts' voter registration law is scheduled to begin Wednesday in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts has filed a civil lawsuit claiming the deadline requiring people to register 20 days before an election is unconstitutional. The state denies that.
