The Falmouth man who authorities say shot two police officers in town is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.

Prosecutors say 21-year-old Malik Koval shot the two officers Friday evening after running into his home. The officers, Don DeMiranda and Ryan Moore, are recovering.

Koval was also shot in the encounter.

He was arraigned Tuesday at his bedside at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Koval pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault with the intent to murder, among other charges.

Two others were charged in the incident. Kimberly Koval and Marcus Maseda were charged with assault and battery on a police officer and interfering with the duties of a police officer. They were released on bail on Monday.
