As former President George H.W. Bush lies in state at the U.S. Capitol, friends and former colleagues are remembering his legacy.

Andrew Natsios is the current director of the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at Texas A&M's Bush School of Government and Public Service, where the Bush presidential library is located. He previously co-chaired the Massachusetts campaign for Bush's 1980 presidential run and later served as director of USAID under President George W. Bush.

He joined Morning Edition to reflect upon the mood at the Bush school.
