Somerville Man Dies After Ski Collision In New Hampshire

A Somerville man died Friday afternoon after a ski collision in New Hampshire, authorities said.

Jeremy Keiran, 39, was skiing down a trail at the Cannon Mountain Ski Resort in Franconia, N.H., when he lost control, was thrown from his skis, slid and struck another skier, said New Hampshire State Police.

Ski patrol found Keiran unresponsive around 3 p.m. Efforts to save his life were unsuccessful, and he succumbed to his injuries on the mountain, according to State Police.

Robert Slocum, 48, of Newburyport, Mass., was taken to the hospital for serious, non-life threatening injuries from the collision, officials said.
