Today's Weather: Damp Tuesday, But Not A Lot Of Rain

You knew yesterday's sunshine was too good to last, and by sunset on Monday, skies had already become cloudy. This morning, we find a few scattered showers and a bit of drizzle. It's not going to be a washout but it's not a great day ahead.

In addition to the moisture in the air, there's going to be a chill with temperatures staying in the 40s for the bulk of the day.

If you've got to be outside doing any work, you'll definitely want to be prepared for raw conditions. The Red Sox are also in town. Headed to Fenway? You'll want to bring a very warm coat.

A blend of clouds and sunshine returns for Wednesday it won't be perfect, but there's no chance of any precipitation during the daylight hours.

Clouds thicken up Wednesday night with a few scattered showers that will linger into Thursday morning. There won't be much in the way of clearing Thursday, although I can't rule out a spot or two of brightening by the end of the day.

Friday brings back a chance of showers along with relatively cool temperatures. Presently, the weekend looks mostly dry and seasonably mild with readings reaching back into the 60s.
