2 Charged With Attempted Murder Of Man In Roxbury Shooting
Two suspects have been charged in connection with a Roxbury shooting that left a man in critical condition on Friday afternoon, police say.
Officers responded to a call for a person shot near 530 Warren St. at 3:58 p.m. and located a man suffering gunshot wounds, Boston police said in a statement. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and was in critical condition as of Saturday.
Dashawn Price, 23, of Roxbury, and Jean Cassamajor, 18, of Dorchester, were taken into custody after a brief foot chase with officers, police said. They have been charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Price and Cassamajor will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
The incident remains under investigation.
