Police Identify Man Killed In Dorchester Shooting

Police have identified the Dorchester man who was shot and killed Thursday night.

Marcos Blanco, 42, was found near 89 Woodrow Ave. suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday, Boston police said in a statement. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

No other information was immediately released. The incident remains under investigation.

The fatal shooting comes just a day after an 18-year-old was shot and killed in Dorchester.
