Organizers Cancel Boston Comic Con Due To Coronavirus Fear

The organizers of the Northeast Comic Con have canceled the event, which was scheduled for March 20-22 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in the Seaport.

In a statement released on Twitter Wednesday evening, ACE Comic Con said it came to the decision in consultation with the BCEC. Attendees were told refunds would be processed "within 30 days."

The move comes as Massachusetts colleges, museums and other venues cancel events amid the spread of coronavirus in the state.
