Today's Weather: A Stunner Of A Friday

Thursday was certainly beautiful, with wall-to-wall sunshine and pleasant temperatures. We're going to have another wonderful day today with temperatures between 55 and 60 this afternoon and plenty of sunshine.

This is a great chance to get outside do some exercise whatever you need to do to feel healthy. Remember, only 15 minutes of sun can give you all the vitamin D you need for an entire day.

Saturday will be mainly sunny, although there could be some increase in clouds and indication in the second half of the day as our next storm system approaches from the south and west.

There will be a bit of wind off the water, so temperatures along the coast will be a little cool in the afternoon. Inland, areas should make it well into the 50s.

On Sunday, showers are likely during the day. It's going to be tough to get out without getting wet.

The rain will taper off Sunday evening, and the start of next week looks OK but not great. Temperatures are going to be on the cooler side of average, and there will be quite a few clouds here and there, with the chance for a couple of showers.

I don't see any major storm systems next week, nor do I see any unusually cold or warm temperatures. It's just going to be a typical start to April.
