WATCH: George Floyd Is Laid To Rest In Houston

The funeral for George Floyd is taking place at The Fountain of Praise church in Houston, Texas, at 12 p.m. Eastern Time. Floyd's killing in Minneapolis on May 25 has sparked worldwide protests as well as charges against four former police officers.

Floyd will be laid to rest in his hometown of Houston. The service is billed as "a private celebration of life" and will be facilitated by Rev. Dr. Remus E. Wright.
