Police: 2 Killed In Roxbury, Mattapan Shootings

Boston police are investigating two shootings that occurred early Sunday morning in Roxbury and Mattapan, five miles apart.

At around 12:49 a.m., police responded to a call near 18 Adams Street in Roxbury, where they found a man who had been shot. Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers responded to a second call about a shooting near 25 Regis Road in Mattapan just before 2:00 a.m. At the scene, police found a victim was suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said.

Police have not yet identified the victims.
