Framingham DA, Police Investigate Possible Homicide

Framingham police and the Middlesex district attorney's office are investigating the death of a young woman in what they say appears to be a homicide.

Police responded to a call from a person who knew the 28-year-old victim reporting that she was dead around 8:37 a.m. Tuesday, according to a statement from the DA's office. Prosecutors said she was found dead in her apartment on Worcester Road with "obvious trauma."

The victim's name has not been released.

The incident remains under investigation and the DA has not yet determined if it was an isolated incident.
