4 Injured, Significant Commuter Rail Delays After Car Falls Onto Tracks In South End
A car went off the road and landed on the MBTA's commuter rail tracks below in a two-car accident in Boston's South End on Wednesday morning.
The Boston Fire Department said the car fell about 40 feet and the four people inside were taken to the hospital.
First responders cleared the scene by mid-morning, but normal service did not resume for the Framingham-Worcester, Needham, Franklin or Providence-Stoughton lines until early afternoon, according to the MBTA.
