Massachusetts residents contended with a blanket of fresh snow Friday morning during what's likely to be the final snowstorm of the month.

According to meteorologist Dave Epstein, several more inches would accumulate across the state into the late evening hours.

The storm is expected to drop between 5-9 inches of snow in Boston, with slightly elevated totals for Worcester and other areas north of the Mass. Pike. Areas south of that line were expected to see lighter totals, about 2-5 inches.

Below are scenes of Bostonians and workers coping with the storm.
