Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is energizing Mass. voting groups

Democratic Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris' campaign is energizing voting groups in Massachusetts.

WBUR's Weekend Edition host Sharon Brody checked in again with two of the groups we have been keeping tabs on during this presidential election.

Marisol Santiago with the non-partisan organization MassVote says she saw a surge in enthusiasm for voting as soon as President Biden dropped his re-election bid and Harris launched her campaign for the White House.

Dan McCool started the progressive Democratic group Blue Revolution in Massachusetts to recruit local voters to campaign in swing states. He says Harris' campaign shows that politics can be "fun" and "positive."
