Massachusetts volunteer helping provide hot meals in devastated areas of North Carolina
Members of the Massachuetts Salvation Army have been deployed for more than a week in Western North Carolina, after Hurricane Helene left widespread damage in remote areas of the state.
On Saturday, October 12th, Ted Lynch of Walpole spoke with WBUR's Weekend Edition from a base camp in Asheville. He just recieved his orders for the day.
