What's next after the scathing DOJ report alleging abuse by Worcester police
Worcester officials and police union leaders are reacting to the scathing Justice Department report released this week about the city's police department.
The report found that police used excessive force and allowed undercover officers to have sexual contact with women suspected of working in the sex trade. The DOJ investigators called the patterns they discovered "outrageous."
Two Worcester police unions called the report inaccurate and biased.
Hector Pineiro, an attorney from Worcester who has sued police for alleged civil rights violations, joins WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the report and what happens next.
