Cambridge City Council votes to adopt major rezoning plan

In an 8-1 vote Monday night, members of the Cambridge City Council adopted new rules that pave the way for the construction of four- to six-story-tall residential buildings anywhere in the city.

Councilor Burhan Azeem, who spearheaded efforts on the council to promote the development of multi-family housing, joined WBUR's Morning Edition.
