There are mixed messages coming from the cannabis industry.

The cost of marijuana has plunged 62% since 2018 and some businesses are being forced to close. But, the state body that regulates the industry says it's thriving.

Travis Ahern, the new executive director of the state's Cannabis Control Commission, joins WBUR's All Things Considered to discuss.
