Trump and Harvard: A timeline of events

The Trump administration opened a review into billions of dollars of Harvard's federal funding on March 31. The government claimed the Ivy League school did not provide a safe environment for its Jewish students and promoted "divisive ideologies." Harvard denies these claims.

Since then Harvard and the Trump administration have been locked in an escalating standoff. The stakes include billions of federal dollars and the fate of the school's international students.
